Eulogies Flow for the Reiners as Autopsy Reports Remain Under Wraps.

Well beyond 14 days following the shocking loss of celebrated filmmaker Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community are still paying respects to the couple.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Remembers His Director

Posting on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, explained he finally felt ready to post publicly about his profound loss.

"Adequate time has elapsed that I can now put my grief into words," posted Elwes, adding that his initial encounter with Reiner created an instant bond. "Once we started sharing more moments together I realized this was someone I longed to have in my life."

The actor shared archival material from the movie, adding that he doesn't recollect "one day without joy".

"The film is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Things that Rob valued immensely. This is one of the many reasons he was the ideal person to guide it," Elwes expressed.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, noting: "To say that they were a incredible duo would be an oversimplification. My heart still hurts every time I remember you." He concluded with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but life is pain without you."

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Fellow Artist

In a separate tribute, legendary director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved being with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the lead role.

"His improvisation skills with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked beautifully with everyone, and he grasped the personal struggle of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Legal Developments: Autopsy Reports Restricted

In a new development, a Los Angeles superior court judge ruled to bar the release of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, following a petition from the LAPD.

A judicial mandate issued a restriction on the cases to limit the public release of "related notes, documents, files or images" associated with the active case.

The coroner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the consequence of homicide, with a official listing listing the cause as "wounds from an edged weapon".

Response and Criticism

Following the killings, public personalities offered different reactions.

Former President Donald Trump posted on the matter, making divisive statements that were broadly criticized by numerous public figures.

Podcaster Joe Rogan contributed his voice to the critics recently. Conversing on his program, Rogan characterized the statements as "shocking" and suggested they revealed a concerning lack of empathy.

Rogan ended by suggesting that an associate could have acted when the impulse to speak on the passing was made.
