Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Windshield
An aircraft transporting Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the UK on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the plane's windshield, as stated by an announcement which verified that Hegseth was safe.
"The jet landed in accordance with established safety measures and everyone onboard, such as Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a press officer commented in a public statement.
He was traveling back from a brief trip to the city of Brussels during the flight.
This event does not mark the first occasion that a American defense plane carrying a senior official has experienced mechanical issues.
Earlier this year, a American military jet transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was compelled to return to the US capital after suffering a mechanical problem.
